Once you have found a buyer and agreed a price then all matters are handed over to your Solicitor who will close the sale. We would suggest that you retain a Solicitor to prepare the legal documentation needed to complete your sale. To avoid potential future litigation, the terms of the sale must be clearly laid out and meticulously completed. Any error could severely set back the entire transaction. You should enlist the help of a solicitor and your best option is to find someone prior to finding a buyer and work out an arrangement. Once you and the buyer have agreed to the negotiated terms, your solicitor will draw up necessary paperwork.
